Sami began working as a news presenter and program host at Sky News Arabia in 2012, where he distinguished himself by presenting a variety of important news bulletins and political programs, thanks to his strong media presence and refined skills. He currently presents "News Room," the flagship program at Sky News Arabia.

Sami has an outstanding professional record in covering significant events on both regional and international levels. His diverse reports reflect his deep commitment to providing detailed and comprehensive insights into major crises and political developments. From covering the Syrian crisis in Damascus in 2012 to reporting on the Hajj season in 2018, and covering the protests in Algeria in 2019, as well as the signing of the constitutional document in Sudan, and the presidential elections in Algeria and Tunisia, Sami demonstrates a high ability to handle complex and diverse topics. 

Before joining Sky News Arabia, Sami worked at Al Arabiya from 2010 to 2012 as a news editor, covering political transformations and popular protests in the Arab region. He also played a pivotal role in launching "International Radio Algeria," a multilingual broadcasting platform, where he presented numerous radio programs and his distinctive voice and compelling narrative style became associated with widely followed programs in Algeria. Sami has also worked as an editor and reporter for prestigious newspapers such as "El Shorouk" and "Algerie News." Additionally, he presented outstanding programs on DM TV, where his programs "Dha' Sietou" and "Al-Sawt Al-Hurr" were known for their unique and distinctive content.

Currently, Sami is one of the leading trainers at the Sky News Arabia Academy, where he has trained many journalists and students. In 2022, he received the "Television Crescent" award for his exceptional contributions to journalism in Algeria.

Sami holds a bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Sciences from the University of Algiers.

He is a certified trainer, holding a qualification from QUALIFI in the United Kingdom, "Level 3 Award in Education and Training."
