Nadim is a professional journalist and media personality with 20 years of experience, working with various media outlets, including newspapers, televisions, and online platforms. Nadim has performed many roles in most aspects of production and management. The programme ‘DNA’ in 2012 was a turning point in his career, and paved a new path in the Arab media in general.

 What training courses will you give at SNA Academy?

I will be communicating with the new generation of journalists, and discussing the challenges facing the future of journalism and the wider new media, a field that is witnessing many changes.

What inspired you to work in the media?

The Lebanese civil war played a major part in shaping my political awareness and increased my interest in politics and media.

What advice would you give students or young media enthusiasts looking to enter the field of media and television?

We can build a career in media as long as we understand the changes surrounding it and gain the knowledge and tools needed for the new media, which is no longer limited to radio, newspaper, or television, and not even just the digital realm.  The profession has expanded tremendously and now accommodates expertise and specializations that were previously not needed.
